St. Vincent de Paul Ministry
St. Vincent de Paul Ministry is our parish's primary avenue for distributing direct financial aid to needy people in our area. This ministry offers limited assistance to individuals or households who are experiencing critical circumstances. Volunteers in the ministry follow strict guidelines to ensure that the funds are used for maximum effect, and are targeted in such a way that they help people with legitimate needs. Individuals must live within the parish boundries, and must be able to provide documentation of the nature and scope of the crisis they are experiencing. A particular household may only receive assistance once per year, due to our limited funds. We regularly run out of resources and are unable to meet all the legitimate needs. People wishing to request assistance from the St. Vincent de Paul ministry should call the church office at 843-873-0631, and leave their contact information on extension 25. Volunteers will respond to calls on a daily basis, as resources allow.
